SnowStation, LLC is the first company to manufacture and sell affordable and portable snowmaking equipment designed for residential and commercial uses. SnowStation, LLC is an affiliate of Snow Economics, Inc a leading manufacturer of industrial snowmaking equipment and a consultant to Ski Resorts worldwide. SnowStation, LLC was founded in May 2000, by Charles Santry and Herman Dupre and is currently co-located with Snow Economics, Inc. at their Natick, Massachusetts office. Snow Economics manufactures and sells the HKD Tower Snowmaking Technology. This technology has evolved over twenty-five years of rigorous testing at Seven Springs Mountain Resort in PA. With over 900 HKD Towers in place, Seven Springs has the ability to make snow at the startling rate of 31,000 GPM (114m³/min) using less than 26,000 CFM (736 m³/min) of compressed air. At this rate, the Seven Springs system can effectively blanket over 500 skiable acres with 12 inches of snow in roughly 48 hours. Founded in 1991 by Charles Santry and Herman Dupre, Snow Economics has grown to be the world wide industry leader in energy efficient Tower snowmaking technology. Overseas, Snow Economics has a widespread network of experienced distributors in all major snowmaking markets. SnowStation's first patent application has been grated by the US Patent and Trademark Office and a Continuation in Part is presently under review. |
